2004 is a superplastic aluminum alloy specially developed by the United Kingdom, which has high strength after T62 heat treatment combing with aging. 2004 Aluminium is aluminium alloy in 2xxx series, which has Copper as main alloying element and some impurity elements.

Features

High strength: the tensile strength and yield strength of this material are very high, which can bear large loads.

Good heat treatment properties: the material can be heat treated to enhance its strength and hardness.

Good processing performance: the material can be processed into parts of various shapes by forging, stretching, quenching, etc.

Good corrosion resistance: a self-protecting oxide film can be formed on the surface of the material, which can effectively prevent corrosion.
